This is the Greg, Chuck, Henry Bill Stephenson line up of the band. The version of Six Pack ran off the tape so it is less than a minute long. The recording is from the soundboard and has excellent quality.

I got this on CD in a mail trade ages back. It's a soundboard tape with a fairly strange, sorta unorthodox mix right? Will be great to hear it again, thank you!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the year is actually 1983... I have definitely seen it listed as '85 (Pat P. was one, I believe) but it usually circulates with the former date, and Rollins' official gig list puts them in S.L.O. on this day in '83.

You are right the correct year is 1983. Sorry for my typo. And, it is a soundboard recording. I think my tape is missing the last couple songs, too.
Deletethank you!
ReplyDelete...i was patiently waiting for this one.
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis was a reel to reel I made from the soundboard. We played this show.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great show. I put the show on, was a Cal Poly student at the time. First true punk show in SLO. Local band first, then Central Cal’s Group Sex, Angst from SFO, 7 Secinds from Ski-No! and Blag Flag from LA. Wanted Flipper really badly but they never responded to me
ReplyDeleteFerocious show - road my bike down the hill to the Veteran's Hall from the dorms to attend. My friend JS played the drums for Black Flag on the encore Louie Louie
