I was recently alerted to the existence of this website by the owner. There are many great photos he has shot since the 1980s. Johnny Thunders, Angelic Upstarts, TV Smith, Ramones, Nomads, Hellacopters, Theatre Of Hate, Vibrators and more. Go have a look.

Urinals - Los Angeles 1980 + 1981
Both of these shows are audience recordings with good sound quality. Songs from both shows have been released on the Negative Capability... Check It Out! CD that was released in 1996 on Amphetamine Reptile Records. The Hong Kong show is missing the last encore song which is the 13th Floor Elevator's song You're Gonna Miss Me. Can anyone help with the unknown song titles?

Leathernarks - KPFK, Los Angeles 10-16-82 (Flipper/Circle Jerks/Geza X members)
The Leathernarks were a one off supergroup that featured Ted Falconi from Flipper, Keith Morris from Circle Jerks, Geza X from Deadbeats and solo performer, and a couple others. The Circle Jerks were originally supposed to play this show but for unknown reasons couldn't so this band was thrown together. The music is Flipper style noise. It's a radio broadcast and the sound quality is very good.

Voodoo Church - On Klub, Los Angeles 11-01-81 + New Wave Theater 2-82
Here's a show by a short lived Los Angeles Goth/Punk band who only released one 12" ep before splitting up. The On Klub is an audience recording and the vocals are very low in the mix and the recording is a little distorted. Anyone wanna take a stab at the song titles? The New Wave Theater is from a television show and sound quality is very good.

Black Randy & The Metrosquad - Park View Hall, Los Angeles 1978
Here is the legendary Black Randy live in action. The date on the tape is 1978 and since Randy talks about Jim Jones and the kool-aid I suspect this show took place at the end of November 1978 since the Jonestown Massacre happened November 18th of that year. This is an audience recording that is a little muddy but still an entertaining listen.

An Amazing Tape Collection
Recently through a friend I was introduced to one of her friends who through conversation I found out was a tape trader in the 1980s and 1990s. While visiting this new friend he showed me two large boxes of old tapes collecting spider webs and dust in his basement. After looking through the boxes and realizing the musical treasure that was in front of me arrangements were made to digitize all the tapes in both boxes. The recent Weirdos, Middle Class, Flesheaters, Deadbeats, and Screamers posts came from tapes in those boxes. In the coming weeks and months live shows, demos, and interviews will be posted from Black Randy & The Metrosquad, 45 Grave, Vox Pop, Voodoo Church, Damned, Red Scare, Violent Appathy, Burning Spear, Leathernarks, Peter Tosh, Gregory Isaacs, Minutemen, T.S.O.L., New York Dolls, Soul Asylum, Kommunity FK, Lydia Lunch, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Whitehouse, Action Swingers, Unsane, Penetration, Urinals, Savage Republic, Germs, Nervous Gender, Chameleons, PragVec, Avengers, Dr. Know, Christian Death, Tex & The Horseheads, Monitor, Dicks, Royal Family & The Poor, Scratch Acid, Flipper, X Ray Specs, B People, Destroy All Monsters, Rudimentary Peni, Meat Puppets, Sin 34, Aggression, Lemon Kittens, Honey Bane, Faith, UK Subs, Gun Club, Misfits, Cramps, D.O.A., Sham 69, Stengte Dorer, Desecrators, Ut, Human Hands, 100 Flowers, Blurt, David Thomas & The Pedestrians, Crucifucks, Ron Asheton's New Order, Dog Faced Hermans, Dif Juz, DNA, Laibach, Prisonshake, Postwar, Pax Americana, Bitter End, Guitat Wolf, Ladonna Smith, Gang Of Four, Felt, Sun City Girls, Caroliner Rainbow, and Mighty Sphincter. This is just the start, though, because there are many more tapes in those boxes. It's going to be a busy year at Noise Addiction. And because of that I won't be uploading any links for past posts. There's too much new stuff to concentrate on.

Screamers - Live + Demos 1977/1978
Here's the Screamers playing at the legendary Masque in 1977 plus demos from 1977 and 1978. There's no date on the tape for the live show and originally I thought it was the December 16 show which has been bootlegged many times but this show isn't that show. It's a soundboard recording with excellent sound quality. The demos also have excellent sound quality. For the demos tracks 1-3 Recorded by David Campbell and Rene Daalder possibly late 1978 and track 4-6 Pat Garrett 4-track Demos, 7-7-77.

Here's the Flesheaters playing an early show at the legendary Masque. There are a couple unreleased songs in this show. The date doesn't appear in the gigography for the Masque so I wonder if this show might be from December 21 instead. It's an audience recording and has good sound quality.
