King - John Peel Session 7-11-78
King were a sort of Punk super group that featured Captain Sensible from the Damned, Henry Badowski (aka Henry Daze) from Chelsea, Dave Berk from Johnny Moped and Kym Bradshaw from The Saints. The group lasted two months, only played a handful of gigs and recorded this Peel Session. You'll recognize Anti-Pope from the Damned's Machine Gun Etiquette album. A part of the song My Baby Don't Care became a part of the Damned song I Just Can't Be Happy Today. Jet Boy Jet Girl was previously recorded by Captain Sensible & The Softies and the song Baby Sign Here With Me was recorded by Henry Badowski for a solo single in 1979 backed by Dave Berk on Drums, James Stevenson from Chelsea on Guitar and Bass, and Alex Kolkowski on Violin who also plays Violin on this session. Anti-Pope from this session was officially released in 1991 on the CD Winters Of Discontent - The Peel Sessions 77-83. This is from a recent re-broadcast and the sound quality is excellent.

RIP, Billy Rath (August 16, 2014) Bassist For Johnny Thunders And The Heartbreakers
Another one is gone: http://themusicsover.com/2014/08/16/billy-rath/
"Billy Rath is perhaps best remembered as the second bassist for Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers. The band formed in 1975, and Rath came on board in 1976 to replace Richard Hell who left to form the Voidoids. Hitting Europe just as punk rock was taking hold, the Heartbreakers immediately fell into the scene and were quickly invited to tour with the Sex Pistols on their doomed Anarchy in the UK tour. The band soon recorded their first and only album, L.A.M.F (Like A Mother Fucker), to mostly mixed reviews – although critics liked the band and the songs, they didn’t care much for the album’s production. The Heartbreaker’s label soon went out of business, and the band’s dissolved in late 1977. They did reform for occasional gigs in New York City during the late ’70s and early ’80s, but Rath left for good in 1985. Over the next two decades or so, Rath stayed away from music business. He studied Psychology and Theology, and eventually worked as a counselor addicts. In 2010, he resurfaced at a Max’s Kansas City reunion which lead to the formation of his own band, Billy Rath’s Street Pirates. Rath continued to perform live to adoring crowds, even touring the UK during the final years of his life. Billy Rath died at the age of 66 on August 16, 2014. Cause of death was not immediately released."

I posted this show before from a cdr source. This is from a cassette source that I think has slightly better sound. It's an audience recording with rough but good sound quality.

Avengers - Los Angeles 1978
These are audience recordings with good sound quality. Each show features some rare songs that were not on the original 1983 Pink album and one song, introduced as Night Ride on the Whiskey shows, that has never been officially released anywhere. Track 7 from the 1st set at the Whiskey and track 6 from the Whiskey 2nd set have been officially released in 1999 on the Died For Your Sins CD. On the 2nd set at the Whiskey the music on track 7 is familiar to us as the song Uh Oh but the lyrics are different on this version and at the end of the song Penelope tells us the song is called The Wolf.
