Both of these bands were from the the San Francisco bay area. There;s no info on the internet about these bands but Half Blind did have two songs released on comp. tapes in 1986. I can't find any releases for Beef Church so this live tape might be all there is. Does anyone have any info on either of these bands? Both sets were recorded from the audience and are from the master tape.

ReplyDeleteHalf Blind was myself (Steve Abbate): guitar & vocals, Mitzi Waltz: Bass and vocals and Dave Ostwald: Drums. Jerod Poore blew some digeridoo during the intro to Dead Sailor. We lasted from 86 to 88. That was one of our last shows, a benefit for a SF Homeless Coalition.
